The Strength of Persistence

There are times in life when we just need to keep going.

Not with dramatic force or grand gestures, but with that quiet, steady, grounding energy that shows up every single day without making a fuss. The kind of strength we often don't realise we have until we look back and see how far we have come.

This painting took me on a journey. Created layer upon layer of texture and colour over many months, it would not be rushed!

It captures the touches and glimpses of the past; where we have come from, the ground beneath our feet, alongside the gold that reaches toward a brighter future. Both are held here, together, in the layers.

A reminder that we are stronger than we realise. And that the path forward, however long, is worth walking.
