I found my way back to painting in 2020, back to the love I had almost lost. The art of speaking without words. Expressing myself through colour, texture and form, feeding my soul and filling my heart. I am so grateful to the version of me that decided to pick the paintbrushes back up.

I work intuitively and with energy. It's so much deeper than what you see, it's something you feel, something that resonates within you. It lives within the colour and the intensity of contrast, within the smooth against the highly textured. The flow across the surface of the canvas and the tiny details within the layers. Each piece is built slowly, in a meditative state, with intention.

 

As a reiki healer I bring that same healing energy into my creative practice. I believe that a painting holds the frequency of the space and the state of mind in which it was created, and that when the right piece finds the right home, you feel it. You feel the energy in the room shift.

My work explores a range of themes including abstracted landscapes and florals, emotions, and the conscious and unconscious mind. I work on middle to large scale canvas using a range of medium including acrylics, texture paste, gold leaf and gold paint. I love to explore and try new ideas and develop my skills to create exciting artworks that are richly layered and highly textured.

I live in Hampshire, UK and can mostly be found in my studio in the garden, painting, feeling, and putting energy into work that I hope will one day hang on your wall and do something quietly wonderful for your space."
